Define project scope: Set goals, desired outcomes, clearly defining what needs to be done and what doesn’t.
Feasibility analysis: Assess risks, challenges, opportunities, and the project’s potential for success.
Develop a project plan: Including a timeline, budget, and required resources.
2. Planning:
Task breakdown: Divide the project into smaller, more manageable tasks.
Task sequencing: Determine the order of task execution and dependencies between tasks.
Scheduling: Use tools like Gantt charts to schedule project execution.
Resource allocation: Allocate resources (personnel, finances, materials, etc.) to each task.
3. Execution:
Plan implementation: Execute tasks according to the established plan.
Progress monitoring: Track the progress of tasks, identify and address emerging issues.
Risk management: Handle risks and challenges to ensure the project stays on track.
4. Monitoring & Controlling:
Progress tracking: Use KPIs to track project progress, costs, and quality.
Risk control: Identify and manage risks that could affect the project.
Change management: Manage change requests for the project.
5. Closure:
Completion of work: Ensure that all tasks have been completed.
Project evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of the project and draw lessons learned for future projects.
